Water as an active light element

Through hundreds, in the walls and the ceiling adjacent integrated, interconnected and backlit hoses or flexible tubes, flows in the FLUX concept water, that slowly changes its color using color pigments and thus the light in the room. The tubes are mounted on a transparent support plate and are evenly backlit.

Abstract:

  • A complete room or a wall spaned with hoses or flexible tubes through which water flows. The tubes are mounted on a transparent support plate and are evenly backlit.
  • Using color pigments, which are introduced at several points in the water, will change the room depending on the flow rate of the water slowly its color. Numerous variants of the design and lay-out of the flexible tubes and the addition of pigments allow more impressive effects.
  • It is possible to provide a combined illumination / heating element which requires very little flow temperature due to the large area.
